Hi All,
The mail archive used to work fine with 2 NICs installed, one connects to DMZ, and the other connects to LAN. And the Port config was followed:
Port Protocol Notes Network Net Address
TCPIP TCP TCPIP Net 127.0.0.1
TCPIP TCP TCPIP Net mail
I just add a Note port for the DMZ NIC and config it for our Notes Road Warrior to get mail. The Port config is followed:
Port Protocol Notes Network Net Address
TCPIP TCP TCPIP Net 127.0.0.1
TCPIP TCP TCPIP Net mail
TCPIP2 TCP TCPIP iNet host.domain
Add all necessary settings in notes.ini for the 2 NICs. The server has no problem of routing mail.
But when I run "load compact mail/db.nsf -a",
I get: Error connecting to server mail/ACME: The server is not responding. The server may be down or ....
It seems that the server just lost its cue and doesn't know which NIC/IP it's supposed to listen on, but I couldn't figure out. I search the forums for days but it seems no one has experienced similar problem.
Anyone has any ideas, please lead me thru this tunnel.
